sign ups to Newcastle University's Degree Apprenticeship Masterclasses

A digital campaign gave Newcastle University 261 sign ups to its Degree Apprenticeship Masterclasses.

Unwritten produced a brand identity and digital campaign to promote Newcastle University’s MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeships.

The Organisation
Newcastle University developed three MSc Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeships to educate and benefit professionals and their employers. The Degree Apprenticeship programme drives technological innovation in workplaces by making employees first-class technical experts in the subjects, Data Analytics, Cyber Security and Software Engineering.

The Objective
Newcastle University briefed Unwritten to refresh the visual identity of the Degree Apprenticeship programme and create a digital campaign to promote the programme. The identity and campaign had to resonate with the target personas of learners and employers, earning sign ups to digital masterclasses that gave a taster of the Degree Apprenticeships.

The Outcome
By conducting persona workshops, the target audiences for the programme were clearly defined. We developed a brand identity which communicated the digital theme of the programme and created a sub-identity for each of the three subjects. We wrote messaging and copy for paid social campaigns and course brochures, which were used to generate interest in the programme and 261 sign ups to the masterclasses.
